Before joining Chaloner Associates in 2000, Tom Lutzy spent 20+ years as a communications professional with consulting firms and in-house. While he has held PR and corporate communications positions, his specialty was internal and organizational communications. He worked in healthcare, financial services and human resources. Most recently, Tom was communications practice leader for William M. Mercer Incorporated, in Boston. In this position, he managed a 25-person team of communications consultants, project managers, writers and graphic designers who provided a variety of communications services to such clients as Boston University, Corning, Duke Energy, Ford Motor Company, Gillette, Putnam Investments and Thomson Financial. Tom has also served as director of public relations for New England Baptist Hospital, public relations coordinator for MASCO (Medical, Academic and Scientific Community Organization) and PR assistant for Emerson Hospital. He taught junior and senior-high school earlier in his career.
Tom received his B.A. in English from Ohio State University and his M.A.T. from Brown University
